Inside Sales Representative

Position Summary 

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for all inbound sales inquiries and all selling campaigns to generate new business. The successful candidate must be an articulate self-starter with great organizational and communication skills. Inside Sales Reps spend a majority of their time interacting with clients via the telephone, internet and email conversations, assessing customers’ needs, recommending products that fulfill those needs, developing price quotes and presenting financing options. They work with customers to complete the necessary paperwork and sales contracts.

  • Promote and sell a variety of fencing and outdoor products to customers 
  • Data entry of all communication activity pertaining to customer accounts 
  • Plan and organize daily workload and/or sales appointments. 
  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads. 
  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities. 
  • Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information per email. 
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates. 
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers. 
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services. 
  • Staying informed about competing products and services. 
  • Upselling products and services. 
  • Researching and qualifying new leads. 
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets. 

Job Qualifications 
  • High School Diploma/GED. 
  • 2-5 years Sales experience, preferably in call center or related sales position 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software, such as Salesforce 
  • Good mathematical and geographic skills 
  • Intermediate skill proficiency with CRM Application Software, Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe applications. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask. 
  • Excellent phone skills. 
  • Exceptional customer service skills. 
  • Strong listening and sales skills. 
  • Ability to achieve targets. 
  • Bilingual a plus
